Sant Antoni De Portmany

So, I’ve been a little bit quiet over the weekend because I’ve been spending time on the magical island that is Ibiza! Chris booked the getaway for us for my 21st Birthday back in May, we went Thursday till Monday night. It is one of the final weeks of closings, it was nice because there was people about but you could walk more than 2 metres without getting pestered by club PR’s along the beach front! There is just so much to do on the island, it is what you make it. Whether you want to party, chill out, explore, shop, do sports, activities, eat … the island offers it! Here is just a few things from our weekend…

The first night we got there, we had tickets for Pacha (thanks chris’s fam mwah!) to see David Guetta’s residency ‘F*** Me I’m Famous.’ I hadn’t been to Pacha before so it was good to experience a new club on the island. It is more ‘up market’ than many of the clubs – well online it is very clear on it’s strict rules. For example it’s dress code is highly stated that it’s not a dress down event and that you can be denied access. However after we got there, people were a lot more casual than we anticipated so it was all okay haha! The venue was different to what we have been to before, I loved the wild western theme around, we had such a good first night! The picture of me above is on our walk home early hours of the morning, not wanting it to end haha…

The Curry Club!12109331_10153649786679808_652265179831844651_n12079579_10153649786434808_6502462150796660319_n12107270_10153649786554808_3557721904871757557_n

Another highlight of the holiday was returning to our favourite restaurant in San Antonio; The Curry Club! In my opinion it is the most beautiful restaurant on the island. As given in the name the curry club offers tasty Indian cuisine with exquisitely decorated interior and terraced gardens. Calming music is played in the background creating a tranquil ambience, it’s lovely for all parties; families, with your partner, friends. Although me being me, I spilt a pint of pepsi everywhere! I mean of course I had to cause a scene, that taught me a lesson to stop speaking with my hands lol!

Cafe Mambo 12118954_10153649800154808_7806358600161483421_n 12141594_10153649799594808_1444610202340237043_n-112112385_10153649799754808_8430133262199237799_n

If you find yourselves in San Antonio, be sure to head to Cafe Mambo. It is great for pre partying, or if you just fancy drinks and dinner for a casual night out. It is situated right on the sea front, and formerly known as the ‘sunset strip’ we headed there just before sunset – it literally gives you the best view on the island! As the sun goes down everybody cheers and claps, a good atmosphere is guaranteed! Plus they have to offer the best cocktails – pricey but your in Ibiza?!

These are just a few pictures, I will do a more detailed blog post soon but I thought I would just do a post updating you on my travels. Ibiza really is the most beautiful, fun, unique & exciting island around! We are already planning next years return, i just want to go already!

Have you been, or thinking of going Eivissa?
